Food was good, not exceptional though, comparing to other Korean restaurants out there in London. I am just appalled with the customer service that they have shown us twice when we tried dining in their restaurant. When we tried to call for a reservation for 4 the first time, there was no one answering the phone and the call will just be dropped. So we tried just walking in because we really wanted to try their food. The European lady who takes in customers let us in, in the condition that we need to finish our food within an hour. I was just ashamed of my recommendation to my friends as the customer service that they have showed us when we were there was really poor; I don’t know if it’s the fact that we didn’t have a reservation and they needed the table right away or it is just the way they are. It really does affect the overall experience. When we were there, they were accommodating other customers especially their Korean customers. I have noticed that their phone was ringing and no one was answering it so I figured that that was the reason we can’t get any reservation that day. Anyway, my partner and I decided to give it a try once again today and we tried making a reservation but again, there was no one answering. We tried walking-in again and to our dismay, the European lady who spoke to us said that we need to wait for another hour because we did not have any reservation, which was fair enough. She was not friendly and accommodating and irritated that we don’t have a reservation. I told her that it is impossible to get through to their phone and I was surprised and annoyed of her answer that the ‘phone was not ringing’ and it seems like she’s insinuating that we didn’t try or we were lying about the phone call. I recalled that when we were there the last time, they’re not answering their phone and the phone just keep on ringing. 🙄
Yes, some might say that it is a good restaurant and the customer service was good, but it might be either because you’re a Korean or maybe a White British customer which they usually try to impress but other than that, expect a mediocre customer service from them. ⚠️Awful restaurant that doesn’t care about custimers’ allergies. I suffered from pain, vomiting and diarrhoea and I spent all night at the hospital.
😠Yet the restaurant just lies and tries to fool me with their excuses for two weeks now.
What did I eat at Bwon? I ate at Bwon two weeks ago. I requested my food to be made without alliums and they told me only glass noodles can be freshly prepared without alliums. So I ordered that and ate it.
What happened to me after eating here? -Shortly after the dinner, I had severe allergic reactions such as stomachache, diarrhoea, vomiting. It was so painful that I couldn’t even walk. I was sent to the hospital by an ambulance and got multiple pain-killing jabs. I didn’t sleep all night due to the pain. I was weak for 3 days after that dinner and I am scared of eating out now.
What happened when I told Bwon of their wrongdoing? They didn’t apologise in the beginning. They told me there’s nothing they could do. They lied to me: saying they would call me, they didn’t; saying they would email me, they didn’t.
What else? We booked a table for 7 but waited about 10 minutes to be arranged- into the first floor where they stock food and beverages. The manager is so rude on the phone. Words can’t express how rude he is. Only one dish is freshly made. All others are ready made ones.
My point is: Please don’t eat here if you are allergic to anything. The restaurant doesn’t care how much pain I suffered from their cross contamination. And I don’t think they will care if that happens to you.

We called 20 times to try and reach them(different times of day) and to ask if it was okay to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday. No luck, so we brought it, only to be told our 9 people table wouldn't be able to have the cake there, we made sure to explain we tried to call and they said okay after one of us got up to explain it. The moment we sat down at our 20h30 reservation (which they said we'd lose if we were 5 minutes late) they told us that we'd need to leave by 22h30 or go downstairs. This is before we ordered. While the food itself was good, it was quite expensive and not of a quality you can't get for cheaper at other places. But at the end it got ridiculous when I had to ask the server to clear the table after we had finished long ago and ask for the cake. She handed me the box and I had to do everything myself. Including asking for a lighter, lighting the cake and bring it to the table. Once the cake was at the table, the server didn't bring plates or cutlery. I had to ask them for it and was told they were closing in 10 minutes. We had to eat too fast for this celebration to be enjoyed and on the website said they closed at 23h. After we paid a very large bill as we all ordered loads I think this was unacceptable. To finish it off the payment was made complicated and the server was rude and actively rolled her eyes at us when we were all very polite despite our experience.
