I would call this the best Thai food in Canberra, bar none
My Vietnamese colleague strongly recommended this spot for a group meal—every dish blew me away… Eating with locals from Southeast Asia really never goes wrong. 🥲 🏠 Coconine 📍 29 Eastlake Parade, Kingston ACT 💰 30-50 AUD per person (portions are huge!) 🦐 Seafood Bucket ($50) The squid is incredibly tender… the prawns are super plump! So satisfying… and the crab legs baked with cheese are amazingly fragrant. Highly recommended! 🍛 Yellow Curry (+ beef, $23.9) The yellow curry is really rich! There’s a lot of beef, and it even has pineapple in it! 🍲 Kuay Teaw Haeng ($23.9) I originally wanted to order Boat Noodles, but my Vietnamese colleague said they might be too salty and recommended this dry version. The ingredients are the same, and it’s absolutely amazing! It has peanut sauce in it—so, so delicious! 🥘 Tom Kha Soup (chicken, large, $22.9) This one really took me by surprise. The combination of coconut and tom kha soup is incredible… it’s not as sour as tom yum soup, and the coconut milk’s creaminess blends perfectly. It’s so comforting to drink in winter. #GlobalFoodExplorers #CanberraFoodie #CanberraEats #RestaurantsToReturnTo #CanberraThaiFood #CanberraCoconine #Coconine #AustralianInternationalStudents
