If This Cozy Spot Were Near My Home, I’d Be There Every Day 🍲
On a chilly LA winter night, nothing hits the spot like a steaming bowl of Korean beef soup—and Shinchon in a humble Ktown plaza totally delivers. Though the menu is simple and focused on beef-based soups, every dish brought a little delight.👍😂 We ordered the #1 Mixed Seolleongtang and #4 Spicy Ox Knee Soup—both rich, warming, packed with tender beef and glass noodles. The raw marinated shrimp was unexpectedly fresh and flavorful, but the real star was the steamed beef ribs: fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply seasoned, and perfect over rice. Unassuming yet incredibly comforting—this is the kind of honest, homestyle Korean food that feels like a hug in a bowl. Our whole table (enough for 3–4 people) came out to under $100—serious value for such soul-satisfying food. If this place were in my neighborhood, I’d be a regular in a heartbeat… maybe even daily 😂 📍 Shinchon 3033 W 6th St #103, Los Angeles, CA 90020 #MyRestaurantStory #LADiscovery #HiddenNeighborhoodGems #FoodInspo
