If this is how Dallas’s spring ends this year
I’d be more than content! 🌟 I don’t know if you guys feel the same, but this year’s spring in Dallas feels exceptionally long. Usually, by May, it’s already hot, but the pleasant weather has lasted for over a month now. It rained a few days during the week, but the weekends always cleared up. The temperature in the 20s (Celsius) is just perfect—cool enough with a gentle breeze that doesn’t blow away the lingering clouds after the rain, so it’s not too sunny. Dallas’s spring is beautiful yet fleeting, which makes us cherish every chance to get out and enjoy it. Recently, I visited two state parks within an hour’s drive from Dallas, and both experiences were fantastic. I’d like to share them with you: 📍Eisenhower State Park ❗️We brought our two-year-old and set off after lunch. The little one took a nap in the car, so we arrived ready to play. The park charges $5 per person for entry, but children under 12 are free. Alternatively, you can get an annual pass for $70, and everyone in your car can enter for free for a year. In the afternoon, we soaked up the sun by the lake with friends, took photos, and chatted. It was blissful! 🔥The little one had a great time too, playing in the mud, throwing stones, and playing fetch with the dogs. At that moment, I fully understood why everyone says the ultimate way to spend time with kids is camping. Nature is truly magical, offering sensory experiences that no toy at home can match. There are many trails in the park, mostly wild dirt paths, which aren’t very suitable for young children. In the evening, we prepared some ingredients, set up an outdoor hot pot 🍲. Outside the pavilion was a lush and quiet grove of trees, while inside, the fire was boiling and bubbling. #DallasLife #HappinessIsNotStayingHome #AestheticLiving #AroundDallas #TheMeaningOfLife
