Had a Friday lunch date at this French spot specializing in caviar. Chatted with the server—the original is in Paris, with branches in Dubai and a few other countries. This is the first U.S. location, newly opened, attracting a pretty upscale crowd. Started with champagne, then a shot of vodka before any food—who mixes like that at noon? 😂 But the vodka was incredibly pure (apparently not for sale, just specially sourced by the owner to pair with caviar). The caviar menu has many grades and weights. We chose the highest tier, Gold (50g). Not overly salty or briny—just rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful. The other dishes were just okay: 🥔 Caviar with potato — rich but heavy. 🍚 Rice trio appetizer — too hard. 🥩 Steak — salty. 🍄 Mushroom side — overly oily. 🍰 Dessert — too sweet. Final bill ~$900 for two 😅 Clearly this place is all about the caviar—everything else feels secondary.
