If you can only eat one brunch in Portland, make it Broder Cafe đł
đ Address: 2508 SE Clinton St, Portland, OR 97202 A local foodie insisted I try this spot. Since our road-trip only let us stay one night in Portland, he didnât hesitate: âYou have to go to Broder Cafeâorder their Lost Eggs and Swedish Pancakes.â No clickbait here! This was hands down the most memorable meal of our 14-day road-trip. See it, taste itâyou wonât regret it đ (Spotted a New York Times mention in the shop, too!) đ„ Swedish Pancakes If you know Swedish breakfasts, youâve probably tried their famous pancakes. Iâve had the delicate, thin version at SFâs Wooden Spoon, served with the same citrus cream and berry jam. But Broderâs Swedish Pancakes? Theyâre balls! Like giant, extra creamy egg waffles âš. Dipped in the fruity sauce, theyâre fresh and not cloyingâone bite leads to another, no stopping. Must-order. đ§đđł Lost Eggs True to the nameâyou canât see the eggs at first! Served in a tiny skillet, theyâre smothered in cheese and ham, with a thick layer of spinach underneath soaking up all the savory sauce. So satisfying, so delicious đ. Vegetarians, their mushroom lost eggs look amazing too! The vibe? So Portlandâchill, laid-back. The bar is beautiful, servers are cool, diners have that effortless style đ. Service is slow, but you can watch the chefs take their time, cooking each dish with care. Even the drinks shineâI got golden milk, highly recommend! â ïž Heads up: Itâs always busy. The server said the only way to skip the line? Show up 10 minutes before openingâyouâll get a table first. Otherwise, 30 mins to an hour waits are normal. And no digital waitlist hereâold-school all the way â°. Hope you love my favorite Portland brunch as much as I do! Happy weekend âïž. #PortlandBrunch #PortlandFood #BrunchLovers #BreakfastGoals
