If you can only eat one brunch in Portland, make it Broder Cafe 🍳

📍 Address: 2508 SE Clinton St, Portland, OR 97202 A local foodie insisted I try this spot. Since our road-trip only let us stay one night in Portland, he didn’t hesitate: “You have to go to Broder Cafe—order their Lost Eggs and Swedish Pancakes.” No clickbait here! This was hands down the most memorable meal of our 14-day road-trip. See it, taste it—you won’t regret it 🗞 (Spotted a New York Times mention in the shop, too!) đŸ„ž Swedish Pancakes If you know Swedish breakfasts, you’ve probably tried their famous pancakes. I’ve had the delicate, thin version at SF’s Wooden Spoon, served with the same citrus cream and berry jam. But Broder’s Swedish Pancakes? They’re balls! Like giant, extra creamy egg waffles ✹. Dipped in the fruity sauce, they’re fresh and not cloying—one bite leads to another, no stopping. Must-order. 🧀🍖🍳 Lost Eggs True to the name—you can’t see the eggs at first! Served in a tiny skillet, they’re smothered in cheese and ham, with a thick layer of spinach underneath soaking up all the savory sauce. So satisfying, so delicious 😋. Vegetarians, their mushroom lost eggs look amazing too! The vibe? So Portland—chill, laid-back. The bar is beautiful, servers are cool, diners have that effortless style 😎. Service is slow, but you can watch the chefs take their time, cooking each dish with care. Even the drinks shine—I got golden milk, highly recommend! ⚠ Heads up: It’s always busy. The server said the only way to skip the line? Show up 10 minutes before opening—you’ll get a table first. Otherwise, 30 mins to an hour waits are normal. And no digital waitlist here—old-school all the way ⏰. Hope you love my favorite Portland brunch as much as I do! Happy weekend ☀. #PortlandBrunch #PortlandFood #BrunchLovers #BreakfastGoals
