Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

In Budapest 🇭🇺, I had the best apple foie gras of my life!

I saw several recommendations for Hungarian local cuisine online, but you know, many are just for the sake of a good post or even fake. After comparing three local restaurants, I finally chose this one. We walked for 55 minutes to get there, and it was definitely worth it! Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Appetizer: Beef consommé 🥣, so delicious 😋! The flavors were incredibly rich and the first bite just blew me away. The waiter was very considerate and divided it into two smaller portions for us, each with a slice of toast 🥪. Main course: Apple foie gras. The slight caramelization, paired with the sweet and tangy apple, releases natural fruit fragrance and a slightly sour sweetness that perfectly balances the richness of the foie gras. It's both refreshing and adds depth. I loved it and fell in love with this combination! Main course: Roast duck leg. So yummy! There was no gamey taste at all, which I'm usually very sensitive to in duck. But this one was just perfect! The portion was huge, with two whole duck legs and a large piece of meat on top. Drinks: A glass of sweet wine 🥂 and a bottle of sparkling water. The ambiance was great 👍. When the waiter saw us taking photos, he brightened the lights and even prepared extra plates in advance, anticipating that we would share. Including a 12% service charge, the total for two people was 29,715 HUF, about 595 RMB. We dined at 4 p.m., and the restaurant was quite empty. There's a special set menu from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with appetizer, main course, and dessert for only 130 RMB, plus a 12% service charge. In short, all three dishes were amazing, great value for money, with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. I'll definitely be back! #FoodKnowsNoBorders #Budapest #Hungary #food #FoieGras #RestaurantRecommendation #TastingForeignCuisine #TreasureRestaurantShare
