Indianapolis Must-Eat List | Does Indy Even Have Good Thai Food?!
After searching high and low β hereβs the tea on Siam Square βοΈ π Siam Square, Indianapolis, IN π° ~$25 per person | Visited: January 2024 π TL;DR: Classic Americanized Thai β overly sweet π―, inconsistent flavors, and questionable Eater ranking π€¨. Not terrible, but not great. β What Worked: Yum Softshell Crab Salad π¦: Crispy, tangy, fish sauce dressing on point! Curry Puff π₯: Flaky and flavorful (but still sweetβ¦ surprise!). Pad Thai π: Edible but forgettable β my local village joint does it better. β οΈ Meh: Thai Iced Tea π§: Ask for less sugar β unless you have a serious sweet tooth. Panang Curry π: Looks pretty, tastes like candy. β Skip: Tom Yum Soup π²: Looks basic, tastes basic. Only pro: itβs warm. π― Verdict: Still on the hunt for authentic Thai in Indyβ¦ Rating: 2.5/5 βοΈβ¨ β "Midwest sweet" took over π #IndyEats #ThaiFood #SiamSquare #Indianapolis #FoodReview #AmericanizedThai #TooSweet #PurdueLife #IUB #MidwestMunchies ππ«π
