Inside Ukrainian Restaurant in Bratislava
When the restaurant first opened, they distributed a lot of colorful flyers introducing their Ukrainian chef. It seemed like they put a lot of effort into it, so I remembered it and decided to give it a try.😁😁😁 The seafood pasta was the best dish I ordered. It had mussels, clams, and shrimp, and the pasta was creamy and flavorful. It was delicious, but a bit too rich. The price of €17.89 was acceptable.😻😻😻 The Ukrainian borscht was a disappointment. When it arrived, the soup was lukewarm. The onions and garlic were given as large, separate slices instead of being mixed into the soup. It only had the flavors of potatoes and beets. To make matters worse, the bread that came with it had a slice of pure fat pork on top. It was cold and greasy, and eating it felt like self-torture. I definitely don't recommend it at €6.90.😍😍😍 The beef tartare was also underwhelming. The portion was small, and the bread was bland and lacked any aroma. The beef itself was a bit bland and needed the sauce and pickled peppers to be edible. At €12.40, it wasn't overly expensive, but it was nothing special. The roasted goose leg was tiny and seemed more like a duck leg in both taste and appearance. The portion of red cabbage and the accompanying pancake was also small, and the price of €24.50 was definitely not worth it. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The only dish worth trying was the seafood pasta. The rest were disappointing. Be cautious if you decide to visit.
