They brought the cutlet raw (there were raw pieces of chicken meat) and asked what to do with it. We were in a stupor as the second course was brought before the appetizers and the first course. The dishes were brought in a chaotic order without observing the order. The wine was warm and no ice was brought. The flounder was cooked terribly. It was probably stored in the refrigerator for six months, so the cook forgot to salt it, but did not spare the pepper. The fish was also raw. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone! With a bill of 200 euros, the level of the institution is very low. Probably many of the reviews were written by the institution itself.
p.s. The restaurant uses dirty promotion methods and their attitude towards customers can be seen even in their response to my review. I don't want to argue with you, but the service and fish were the worst in my life, and I booked a table with a girl who told me about problems with air conditioning and advised me to choose a place on the terrace. The wine was served at 25 degrees and was very warm. The cutlet was with raw chicken meat. It's just awful! I didn’t finish the fish because it was raw and answered the waiter’s question was the fish not tasty? that the fish was not salty and a lot of pepper. Probably, competitors with their families often come to you and order raw meatballs for 200 euros in order to write a bad review and get a boorish answer even here in the reviews. Read moreI've visited Inside at least six times for various meals, and each experience has been exceptional. Whether it's been for a full meal or just a drink and snack, the food and service have consistently been top-notch.
Regardless of who was on shift, the staff always made me feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, far beyond a typical restaurant-consumer interaction.
Recently, my father visited me from Italy, and we dined at Inside every day for three days straight. The quality of the food easily meets highest international standards: fresh, home made from clearly high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and prepared, beautifully plated, and always with a unique stunning personality in the taste profile, which creates an amazing blend of modern feel to traditional type cuisine.
While it may be slightly more expensive than your average cozy restaurant in residential Bratislava (but there is a wide range of differently priced options in the generous and cared composition of the menu), the level of excellence in both food quality and service makes it an extremely affordable and convenient place to dine (or have lunch, breakfast, brunch, drink or whatever you might have a taste for).
The staff is clearly selected and trained to provide the best dining experience. I want to especially thank Илья́ for making the meals with my father a highlight of his visit with his outstanding service and genuine warmth.
Such high levels of quality in food or service (let alone both!) are rare in Bratislava, especially outside the Stare Mesto area, making Inside a true jewel in the city's culinary scene.
