Iran | Dining in Isfahan. Shahrzad Restaurant
Shahrzad is a rather upscale restaurant in Isfahan, with a great ambiance and delicious food. The waitstaff are dressed in suits and shirts, and their service is impeccable. Because of this, we dined here for two nights in a row. For the main courses, we tried lamb chops, roasted lamb leg, fish kabab, and shrimp kabab, all of which were excellent. I highly recommend the lamb chops, fish kabab, and saffron ice cream here. Although Iran has plenty of lamb🥩, most of it is prepared as kabab or stewed in small pieces. It's not easy to find large portions of lamb. However, the lamb chops at this restaurant fulfilled our desire to enjoy a hearty meal of lamb. The lamb is perfectly roasted, tender and juicy, with no gamey flavor at all😍. In Iran, we usually eat meat every day, but seafood🐟is relatively rare. So when we had the fish kabab, we were overjoyed. Unlike lamb kabab, beef kabab, or chicken kabab, which are minced and then grilled, losing the joy of eating meat, the fish kabab here retains the texture of the fish. You can still feel the grain of the fish when you eat it. The fish is very tender, and it tastes like salmon😘. he saffron ice cream🍨is a must-try dessert here. The ice cream is very smooth, and the aroma of saffron is very strong. It's even better than the saffron popsicles you buy in stores. You definitely can't miss it🤩. Shahrzad is located on the north side of the Si-o-se-pol Bridge, near the Shahrzad subway station. After dining, you can take a stroll on the bridge to digest your meal. #Iran #Isfahan #IranianRestaurant #IranTravel #Food
