English: When we sat down the waiter took our order and while we waited for our food to come we asked for disposable cutlery as me and my sister did not like to eat with metal cutlery, when we ordered the disposable cutlery the waiter brought them and I and my sister began to eat the salad, a few minutes later the waiter came again and snatched the fork I had in my hand, then quickly swiped up all the cutlery and gave us some metal cutlery. I was very angry because I did not want someone taking something of my hand let alone giving me something that I had asked not to have, I then got up and asked to speak with the manager (whom was on the table behind me, sipping on his tea, I think he was racist because we were speaking Arabic) when I got up I went up to him and started speaking to him in Persian, he was extremely surprised at my Persian accent and I even told him I was from Ahwaz, after that he realised that I was from Iran and told the waiter to give me and my family the plastic cutlery. After all that me and my family were fed up and not in the mood to eat, I suggested to leave but my sister was hungry so we stayed and ate. Don’t make the same mistake as I have done if you want to eat with plastic cutlery or anything else that you can, then go somewhere that lets you to eat as you like and do as you want.

It's not easy to make Iranian food taste bad. But they found a way. Save your time and money.

The first thing you'll notice as you walk in to be seated is the lack of any Persian locals eating here.

Let that be your warning.

This place may have been good once, but now it's a well oiled tourist churning machine. We were seated in the center surrounded by hundreds of tourists. Considering the generally good standard of Iranian cuisine almost everywhere we ate, this was a let down.

The chicken dishes were dry and oddly too suggary. We had to ask for more sauce to try and drown it. Although my steak lamb kebab was not too bad, the chips it came with were cold. The two local speciality dishes (which Isfahan is famous for) were not available. Coincidentally these dishes are often the cheapest dish on the menu, forcing us to move to more underwhelming and expensive options.

They also moved a trolley next to our table and proceded to loudly dump plates and leftovers in it rather than do it out of sight.

Felt sorry for the queues of tourists still waiting to get in as we left. Undoubtedly led there by trip advisor. This place needs...

Not a place for Solo Traveler

The food there is okay, and the decoration is indeed beautiful. It's a pity that this place is getting touristy and full of group tourists, so you might feel a bit noisy. The salads and appetizers are displayed on the "stroller", but you don't know whether it's fresh or not. The waiters are always in a hurry, and they leave the "stroller" for collecting the dirty dishes of other guests beside your table. You watch the dirty dishes and waste next to you while you are eating, how enjoyable! One waiter even put a dirty dish on my table. I can understand at the moment the "stroller" is absent (at the kitchen) so he did that, but how can a professional waiter ignore my feeling while I am still sitting there right in front of the table. Hey! He even didn't say any "excuse me" word. I felt really being treated non-respectfully and insulted. Never again for this restaurant for my next...
