IRELAND šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗ Finally Tried the Moka Pot Tiramisu ā˜•ļø at Amuri

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long! The Moka Pot Tiramisu and Sicilian flavors were calling my name, so I decided to visit on Valentine’s Day. ā¤ļø Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and quiet. It’s the perfect spot for a meal with friends, a chat, or a romantic evening. The menu is quite simple and doesn’t offer many choices, but the dishes change regularly, so I won’t go into too much detail. For starters, I recommend asking the waiter about the daily special. 🄢 For my starter, I had the daily special—scallops—and the Seabream from the menu. I highly recommend the scallops! The soft, warm texture paired with the salty, umami flavor of the caviar was amazing. The Seabream was decent, with a sweet and sour taste to whet your appetite. 🦪 For the main course, I ordered the famous Pistachio Cream Pasta—Caserecce con crema di Pistacchio (the pasta on the lower part of the photo). The first bite was delightful, with the nutty, salty flavor mixing perfectly with the creamy sauce. Even the handmade pasta had a great, chewy texture. However, as with most creamy pastas, it got a bit heavy towards the end, and I couldn’t finish it. It really depends on how much you enjoy creamy pasta. šŸ The other dish was Tagliatelle al Ragu (the pasta on the upper part of the photo). It was a pretty standard tomato, cheese, and beef ragu pasta. I was hoping for a hint of spicy Rayu, but it was quite plain overall, so I wouldn’t particularly recommend it. šŸ– And of course, the star of the show—the Moka Pot Tiramisu! It did not disappoint! The Moka Pot presentation was beautiful, and the Tiramisu was just the right amount of sweet and rich. I would definitely come back just for this dessert! šŸ° To find Amuri (next to MUJI in District 2), enter through the small door on the left and head upstairs to the second floor. The first floor is a breakfast spot, while the second floor is for dinner and fine dining. The average cost per person is around €40-50. šŸ“ #Dublin
