This was my most-anticipated stop in Ireland—I'm absolutely obsessed! 💚🧡 📍 Saltee Islands (Kilmore Quay) About 2 hours drive from Dublin 🚙 Puffins (a.k.a. sea parrots) are the most adorable creatures! These little guys poop like fountains, aren’t afraid of humans, can fly AND dive, and mate for life while raising their chicks together 🥹 You can only spot them April-June—they spend winters in the North Atlantic! ❄️ ❗ Must book boat tickets in advance (especially weekends)! ⚠️ Heads up: 4 hours on the island (no bathrooms!). Zero shade—pack sunscreen! You’ll need to wade through knee-deep seaweed to land (barefoot or water shoes).
