Irish Food Recommendation: Quays (with Menu)
Quay Irish Restaurant 📍 10-12 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, D02 EW63 You need to make a reservation in advance by phone ☎️ +353 (1) 679 1923. Don't book too early, as you won't be able to sit down before your reservation time. The restaurant is very popular! 1️⃣ Seafood Chowder This is the best one I've had in Dublin. It's a cream-based chowder, very rich and full of fresh seafood. (Not recommended if you're not a fan of seafood.) You can choose it as a starter or a main course. 2️⃣ Irish Lamb Shank A classic Irish traditional dish. The lamb shank is tender and flavorful, served with creamy mashed potatoes🥔. The combination of the meaty aroma and the creamy potatoes is just melt-in-your-mouth delicious. 3️⃣ Slow-Cooked Beef This dish is mixed with Guinness, but I didn't find it particularly special. It tastes similar to other restaurants' beef dishes. The flavor is good, but it's a bit salty and feels more suitable with rice. However, rice is not provided. If you don't like bread🥯, this might not be the best choice. 4️⃣ Fillet of Fresh Salmon Surprisingly delicious! Although pan-fried salmon is a common dish, this one stands out. The salmon is not dry at all. The surface is crispy and well-seasoned, with lemon to remove any fishy taste. It's served with a variety of vegetables and crispy fried potato slices, which are really tasty. 😋 5️⃣ Homemade Lemonade Very refreshing and perfect for cutting through the richness of the food. It's a sweet and tangy drink recommended by the staff. A large pitcher is suitable for 4-6 people. The average cost per person is around €20-30, depending on your choices. If you haven't tried traditional Irish dishes before, this is a great place to start! I highly recommend the Seafood Chowder. 😋 Thank you for following!
