π Irvineβs Jiang Nan Soft Opening Review! π₯’
Just visited during their soft launch β service was smooth and attentive, no chaos at all π The dishes were consistently well-prepared, definitely a solid addition to Irvineβs dining scene! Average per person: around $80. While waiting, they kindly offered complimentary lemon water π π¦ Half Roast Duck The skin was nicely crispy π¦π₯, though the slicing could be optimized. Highly recommended! You can choose to have the bones prepared salted & peppered, as soup, or packed to go. Served with a side of canned pineapple chunks β a refreshing touch! π π Sizzling Plate Pork Liver Absolutely loved this! Full of wok hei, tender with no off-taste π Finally, a delicious stir-fried pork liver in Irvine! π Eel with Garlic & Oil (Bone-In) Portion was modest, but the meat was fresh and flavorful β no need to mask it with white pepper! Asked the server β itβs freshly prepared, not frozen π£ Hope they keep it that way! Will order again. π Wagyu Beef Noodles Not my favorite π One bite and I felt overwhelmed by the richness. Noodles were a bit overcooked and broke apart easily. Noticed a table of 6 also ordered itβ¦ and ended up taking it home unfinished π¬ π Complimentary Items Starter: Spicy pickles πΆοΈπ₯ β nice kick! After meal: Recharged membership and got a free Peach Gum & Snow Ear Dessert β warm, sweet, and comforting β€οΈ π Jiang Nan 5406 Walnut Ave, Irvine, CA 92604 #JiangNanIrvine #IrvineEats #JiangZheCuisine #ModernChinese #RoastDuck #IrvineFoodie π₯
