Yuk Dae Jung feels like Irvine’s answer to Sun Nong Dan — not exactly cheap, but the flavors are totally worth it! 👍 The menu focuses on noodles: cold noodles, Korean ramyun (yes, the instant kind but elevated!), army stew, and soybean paste beef rib soup. And the banchan (side dishes) are incredibly generous! ▪️ Braised Spicy Premium Beef with Flat Glass Noodles The beef ribs are tender and sweet, not too spicy (we got less spicy). A must-order! ▪️ Original YukGaeJung with Custom-made Ramyun I’ve never had ramyun like this at an Irvine restaurant — the first! Even though it’s instant noodles, the texture and flavor are next level. We devoured it in minutes 🍜 ▪️ Premium Bossam Boiled in Various Herbs We got the small size, perfect for three. Since our other dishes were spicy, this herbal boiled pork was a great balance. Tender, flavorful, and served with dipping sauces — no regrets!
