📍 Moon Bay During a rare trip to Irvine, I picked this spot from among all the Sichuan options. The restaurant is small, with mostly just one server running the floor. Though it wasn’t packed, the customers who were there seemed like regulars — clearly a go-to spot for locals. 🍖 Grilled Lamb Chops — My favorite of the meal! The lamb chops come with crispy skin and tender meat inside, slightly charred on the outside. Sprinkled with chili powder — so good you’ll definitely want to order them again. 🌶️ Stir-Fried Pork Kidney Had high hopes for this one, but the flavor wasn’t what I expected — it’s on the sweeter side with a heavy glaze. That said, the kidney itself was very tender. 🍚 Fried Rice Made with soy sauce and packed with ingredients — tasty, but not my preferred simple style with just egg, salt, and scallions. 🥦 Dry Pot Cauliflower One of my must-order veggie dishes at Sichuan/Hunan spots!
