Honda-Ya is probably the best izakaya in Irvine. The cozy, retro vibe instantly pulls you in — perfect for unwinding after work with a drink and some skewers. And the taste? Seriously on point! They have a huge variety of skewers — chicken gizzard, wings, heart, beef tongue… all kinds of meat, all delicious 😋 This time, I also tried grilled shishito peppers and sashimi — both great! ⚠️ Heads up: they don’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait.
