Irvine Actually Has a $15 Lunch Special for 4 Hand Rolls?! 🍣

Rol Hand Roll Bar, part of the Kei Concepts group, is doing really well at its Irvine location. They offer hand roll sets of 5, 6, or 7 pieces at good prices — and it’s usually packed. Now they’ve rolled out an insane lunch special — way too cheap to believe! Available Monday–Friday until 4:00 PM: $15 for 4 hand rolls — salmon 🍣, tuna, scallop, and blue crab 🦀. All delicious! A single hand roll usually costs at least $5, so this is a steal. The set also comes with miso soup and edamame. Is this really Irvine pricing?! 😱 At lunch, it gets super busy — expect to wait around 1.5 hours. Pro tip: join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time. On my first visit, besides the $15 set, we added the uni & toro hand roll — $24 (not cheap), but loaded with filling (almost too big to eat in one bite!). So fresh and tasty we ordered two more. The bill wasn’t small, but it was totally worth it. Second visit, we tried the toro hand roll and grilled eel hand roll — both solid. The eel one was especially generous. They also have inari (sweet tofu skin) sushi, which is pretty rare these days — a traditional Japanese item. It’s bigger than a hand roll but the same price. We chose scallop filling since they were fresh that day — super satisfying!👌😍 Still, I’d recommend the hand rolls most — their seaweed is amazing. Even if you don’t eat it right away, it stays crispy and fragrant! We also tried the matcha pudding dessert — subtle tea flavor with crunchy chocolate pearls on top. Loved the texture!
