Irvine Korean Eats | ChaiLan Review
We arrived at 6 PM on a Thursday—the place was packed (mostly with Korean diners, always a good sign!), so we waited about 30 minutes for a table. Portions here are HUGE, so we ordered: 🍜 No.1 Seafood Jjamppong (small) Generous two-person serving with soft, chewy noodles, crab, mussels, shrimp, squid, carrots, and onions. Very red but not spicy—extremely salty though! (Wish they’d shared some salt with the tangsuyuk...) 🍖 No.13 Sweet & Sour Pork (Tangsuyuk) Crispy pork with a delicious tangy dipping sauce, but the meat itself was underseasoned—great at first bite, then bland. 💰 Price: Shockingly affordable for Irvine! Full meal (meat + seafood + carbs + veggies) came to under 47+). Honest take: Tasty, but felt like something I could replicate at home with a Korean supermarket haul. #IrvineEats #KoreanFood #IrvineLife #DayInMyLife #OCFood
