Is Nan Hot Pot in Dallas Any Good?

Nan Hot Pot 🔥 A new hot pot restaurant has recently opened in Plano, Dallas. I’ve been looking forward to it for a whole year, and finally, they’re officially open! Ever since I had the beef tallow hot pot base two years ago, I’ve completely fallen in love with this rich and spicy flavor. It’s a process of seeking a bit of “pain” while enjoying the numbing spiciness and then cooling down with ice powder or desserts 😆. It’s almost like a masochistic pursuit 😂😂😂. The soup base is made with spicy beef tallow, combined with a large amount of chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns, creating an incredibly rich flavor. Even without dipping sauces, the ingredients are already very flavorful. I really enjoyed my visit, but the a la carte prices are indeed on the higher side 😆. The average cost per person is around $50. I highly recommend the “nine-grid” platter, which is more cost-effective and allows you to try a variety of ingredients. The dragon fruit shrimp paste looks nice, but honestly, you can’t taste any dragon fruit flavor 😆. I think regular shrimp paste is just fine. If you haven’t tried “gongcai” (Chinese lettuce) and “shredded potatoes,” give them a try. I find they taste great after being cooked in the hot pot. For a spicy relief, don’t miss the “mashed lemon drink” 😍😍😍. I heard that their other desserts are amazing, but since they haven’t started selling them yet, I didn’t get to try any this time. Next time, I hope to experience their dessert magic 😆. Hot pot lovers in Dallas! Give it a try 😉 #Dallas #DallasHotPot #DallasFood
