Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum(3)
👉 There are three areas to visit: 1⃣️ The Studio Area, which includes the large sculpture courtyard, the workshop/studio, and the exhibition hall. 🌿🌟2⃣️ Noguchi’s House, which consists of the interior and a small courtyard. You can’t go inside; you can only look in through the doors and windows. 3⃣️ The hill to the right of the living area, where you can climb up and enjoy a panoramic view. 👉 The three areas are interconnected and reflect Noguchi’s balance and focus between nature and human-made elements. 👉 This is truly a must-visit museum. Immersing yourself in Noguchi’s works is an awe-inspiring experience. 🌿🌟You can see how he integrated traditional Japanese Zen gardens and stonemasonry into modern aesthetics and contemporary life, and how he experimented with and achieved these combinations. Up close, you can feel the contrast and tension between smooth and rough textures, shapes, lines, and volumes in his sculptures. The colors of the stone sculptures are amazing—some have a watercolor-like luminosity, while others feel as cold and hard as cast iron. 🌿🌟 Most of the stones seem to have their own personalities, as if they were alive. #HomeAesthetics #ArtMuseum #IsamuNoguchi 🎨
