It's local food that only locals know about.
A Local Slovak Restaurant Known Only to Locals Initially, I planned to go to Alfa Bingo, but it turned out to be closed. So, I spontaneously chose another place that only locals know about—a truly authentic local eatery specializing in charcoal-grilled dishes. Their most famous dish is charcoal-grilled chicken wings.👍👍👍 I absolutely loved the chicken wings! They cost 2.5 euros per 100 grams, and a serving of five wings costs around 10 euros (mine was about 10 euros). After finishing my portion, I even took away another ten wings to go. They were so fragrant, with the perfect charred aroma from the charcoal. The flavor was just right, not too salty or too sweet.😊😊😊 Their ribs, however, were a bit too sweet for my taste—too much honey. I managed to eat only one of the two ribs I ordered, though my dad really enjoyed them and thought it was a perfect match for his taste buds. A portion of ribs plus roasted potato slices cost only 14.9 euros—such a great deal! I also recommend two local Slovak beverages: Kofola and Vinea. Kofola is similar to cola but has a unique taste that helps cut through the richness of the food. I had some two days ago but didn’t order it this time. Instead, I bought a bottle from the supermarket to take home. Vinea is a non-alcoholic, carbonated drink available in two flavors—white and red. I tried the white one, but I prefer the red, which unfortunately they didn’t have this time.😍😍😍 The restaurant also offers traditional Slovak beef tripe soup, but they didn’t have it today 😭. I might be the only one who has posted about this place! Hahaha.
