Itadaki Dinner during Seattle Restaurant Week
Mom's visit perfectly coincided with Restaurant Week, so I just had to treat her to some fancy "aesthetic dining" we normally wouldn't splurge on 💃✨ As two hardcore wagyu and uni lovers, we had an absolutely amazing time at Itadaki 🥰 For starters, there were two options: salad 🥗 or chawanmushi. If both people skip the salad/steamed egg, you can share a beef tartare instead 🤤 The Scallop and Wagyu Sushi was incredibly delicious! 🍣👏 → 🫰✨ For the grill course, each person could pick two types of meat or go for an 8oz steak. Our server grilled it for us right at the table 🫰 The short rib was so tender it literally melted in our mouths! Highly recommended! 🥩🔥 → 😭👌 The yuzu cake dessert was super refreshing and perfectly cut through the richness 🍰💚 → 🍃💫 We also ordered the uni toast à la carte - pure bliss for uni enthusiasts! 🍞🌊 → 🤩💖 Heard from other friends that the lunch service doesn't include table-side grilling 😅.
