šŸ’• Italian in Long Beach, LA – La Traviata

The highlight of this week’s travels—the peak of family-run Italian restaurants! Totally worth the nearly hour-long drive through traffic. Parking took a bit of time, but the inside was charming with unique wall art and live violin music. šŸ„— Crispy Brussels Sprouts – Good, though the sauce was a bit strong and slightly overshadowed the veggies. šŸ’• Lobster Ravioli – Absolutely delicious—can’t even describe how good! (I’d drive back just for this.) 🐟 Sea Bass – Well-cooked and moist, but with a miso glaze that made the flavor a bit more mainstream. šŸ’• Pistachio Dessert (in a cup) – Rich, nutty, sweet but not cloying. Loved it! Our server was super warm and welcoming—she shared that her dad opened this restaurant over 20 years ago, making it one of the oldest small eateries in Long Beach. She also raved about how great Long Beach is to live in šŸ” #ItalianFood #LosAngeles #LAEats #LATravel #LongBeachFood #FamilyRestaurant #HiddenGem
