Italian Restaurant Recommendation: Amalfi Cucina Italiana 🇮🇹
Today we tried an Italian restaurant called Amalfi 🍝. There are two locations in San Diego, and we visited the one in Carmel Valley (5980 Village Way). Make sure to book in advance—it was completely packed when we arrived, and walk-ins likely won’t get a table! 🏼🍽️ The ambiance was fantastic—chandeliers, beautiful wall paintings, and elegant furniture 🖼️💡. Perfect for dates, celebrations, or group gatherings! We were a group of 8 and ordered: 2 different pizzas 🍕 2 pasta dishes 🍝 2 plates of cheese-filled ravioli 🥟 1 beef dish 🥩 Since it was our first time, we just ordered whatever caught our eye—and everything was delicious! Not a single miss 😋. The octopus in the pasta with octopus was especially tender and flavorful 🐙👌. The ravioli was rich and cheesy, and the beef was super tender and well-seasoned. Everyone loved it! We were all full after sharing 6 dishes—even had some leftovers to take home 🍱. The total including tax and tip came out to just over $30 per person—great value! Many online reviews say this is one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a delicious meal! 🎉 Plus, a friend told us about this app called InKind 🤳💳. It partners directly with restaurants and gives you credits back after you dine. For example, at this Italian spot, we got $30 back (before tax and tip) to use next time! They also occasionally send coupons like “$25 off $25” or “$20 off $100”—so you might even get a free meal someday! 🆓🍕 You can also top up your balance at a discount through their website or Costco (often 30-40% off!). Stack those deals and save even more! I immediately downloaded it—if you want a referral, just message me 🦋. You’ll get $25 to start! #Foodie #ItalianFood #SanDiegoEats #FoodShare #CaliforniaDining 🧀🍷🇮🇹
