🌲 Ithaca Day Trip: Cornell + Glass Museum + Winery
【Cornell Campus Log】 It’s seriously cold in Ithaca 🥶—this southerner had to bundle up in a puffer coat immediately! Last Saturday there was a football game 🏈—got an email from the school; I think they were playing Yale or Princeton? The weather was gorgeous, and everyone around campus looked so hyped and energetic lol 😆 (btw I don’t know much about sports, but I heard Cornell football is always last in the Ivy League… though their hockey and soccer are decent 🏒⚽) Went to the Dairy Bar for ice cream 🍦—the mint flavor was kinda weird, but pumpkin was pretty good! The new Morrison Dining Hall is huge 🏢, and the stir-fried noodles + Middle Eastern food were delicious! At the Beer Co., there’s a cocktail called the Cornell Mule… 😂 Well that’s literally me?? Drank the Cornell Mule and instantly became a Cornell mule 🐴✨ 🪞【Corning Museum of Glass】 Such a fun place to explore! 🎨 There’s everything from historical glass exhibits to modern artistic creations. The guide pamphlet lists times for live glassblowing demos 🔥—get there early to grab a seat, it gets crowded! The gift shop is also amazing 🛍️—full of glass crafts, home goods, and since it’s almost Halloween, they had locally made glass pumpkins!! So cuteeee 🎃💖 🍷【Wagner Valley Brewing Co.】 They have separate counters for beer and wine 🍺🍷, each with tasting flights. I went with the sweetest one, of course 😉 The wine is super affordable, and they even sell cute wine bag openers! I brought a bottle of Niagara back with me 🍇🛍️ #Ithaca #EastCoastUSA #StudyAbroadLife #Cornell #DayTrip #GlassArt #WineryTour
