We visited the Corning Museum of Glass on January 7, 2025, to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and it was an incredible experience! The glassmaking demonstrations were especially fascinating, showcasing the artistry and skill involved in creating intricate glass pieces. The museum is filled with stunning works, but the chandeliers stood out to me— especially the butterfly chandelier and the pink glass fish chandelier, both of which were so unique and captivating.
You can easily spend at least three hours exploring everything the museum has to offer, and even then, there’s more to see and do. Families with kids will find it especially engaging, with activities like a junior scavenger hunt, coloring stations, and magazines for younger children. Read moreI must say I initially had no interest in visiting this museum. I took my mom because she’s been wanting to go for years and I was blown away! We stayed for hours!! I love that they have several live exhibit shows, we watched the glass blowing. I love how there were opportunities for interaction and immersion and I loved the artwork!! The food court was another pleasant surprise as well. The prices were reasonable and the food was pretty decent. I ordered the black bean burger. I just wish it came with lettuce at least on it. We also made our own glass pendants which was a very nice experience as well. Overall, we plan on visiting again and will bring some friends...
