Japan's Hokuriku Itinerary
πTakada - Himi - Amano Coast π π Takada (including Amano Coast) + Himi πFrom Kanazawa Station, take the IR and Aizu Kaze to Takada Station (there are two stations: Takada Station and Shin-Takada Station. Think of Takada Station as the main one, while Shin-Takada Station has fewer trains and is mainly for shinkansen). π Walk along the route to visit the Takada Daibutsu, Takada Castle Park, and the Takada City Museum. πΏ πI'm not sure if it was because I visited on a weekend, but Takada was surprisingly quiet. The people I met at the Takada Daibutsu seemed to be there specifically for worship. π At Takada Castle Park, I stumbled upon a children's poetry recital and stopped to watch for a while. The entire Hokuriku trip had fewer tourists, but I got to experience many local community events, which felt like a true travel experience. π π At the Takada City Museum, I saw a memorial exhibition for Fujiko F. Fujio, the creator of Doraemon. There were many original artworks, stories about the artist, and related items. π It was a small but well-curated exhibition with a strong narrative that made me feel closer to the life of the great manga artist. πHighly recommended! The souvenir shop had lots of cute items too. π¨ #Takada #Himi #AmanoCoast π
