Japan Strolling | Is Uji Worth a Visit? (2)🌸

🌸Byodo-in Temple is renowned for being a Pure Land temple built over 1,000 years ago during Japan's Heian period. The reflection of light and shadow in the A-ji Pond, which is fed by the Uji River within its garden, is considered a symbol of the Pure Land. 🌸 🌇 Uji gives off a very unique vibe. It's clean and refreshing everywhere, perfect for spending a leisurely afternoon watching the gentle stream flow. 🌸 I've heard that it's even more beautiful during cherry blossom season. 🌸 When walking on the streets, I actually felt a bit like I was on some American roadside, but it's totally different. 🌇 The little mailboxes by the street are super cute. The residents here also exude a laid-back aura. 🌸 If you've ever dreamed of experiencing the slow-paced life in a Japanese town, Uji is a great place to visit. Just stand by the Uji River for a minute, and you'll understand that feeling—it's a kind of leisure that can't be put into words. 🌿 🌇 In Uji, you can hug trees and absorb the essence of nature. The matcha here is a must-try! 🍵 #Travel #BeautifulSceneryOnTheRoad 🌇
