Hidden Gems of Kansai Shrines and Temples! 🌸 🌇🌿 In early July, I visited many shrines and temples in Kansai with my friends. If you’re interested, feel free to bookmark this! 🌟 ⛩️ Osaka | Ōtori Shrine (Picture 2) Ōtori Shrine is a master of the "limited edition" game! Not only do they have seasonal limited-edition shuin (blessing books), but they also offer various limited-edition stamps. 📖 ⛩️ Kyoto | Eikando Temple (Picture 3) Eikando Temple completely elevated my experience of Japanese gardens. During the visit, you need to walk barefoot on the temple’s cool wooden floors. 🌇🌿 Sitting in the hall, you can watch the red koi fish in the courtyard and feel the cool breeze of summer... 🌺🍃 ⛩️ Kyoto | Yasaka Shrine (Picture 4) Yasaka Shrine is one of the must-visit spots in Kyoto. The Gion Matsuri, a midsummer festival, starts right here. 🌸 ⛩️ Kyoto | Fushimi Inari Shrine (Picture 5) Fushimi Inari Shrine is the head shrine of over 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan, dedicated to the gods of rice and food. The "Thousand Torii Gates" within the shrine are incredibly spectacular and attract travelers from all over the world. 🌇🌿 This is where Sayuri ran through the torii gates in Memoirs of a Geisha. 🌅 #Kyoto #JapanTravel #ShrinesAndTemples 🌇🌿
