Potato Salad ππππ The restaurant has this dish recommended everywhere on its walls, so I had to give it a try. It's a classic potato salad served on a bed of two leaves. It was quite delicious. Premium Thick Tongue ππππ I highly recommend this thick-cut tongue. I had it once at a place called "Good Cow" back in my country, but they changed their menu and I haven't had such a thick cut since. It's been on my mind ever since. It's very different from the usual thinly sliced grilled tongue. The texture is both bouncy and tender, and it's incredibly tasty. Assorted Premium Beef ππππ The platter comes with three flavors, and we chose the salt & pepper option. There are four types of meat in total. I apologize for not knowing the specific cuts, but I can tell you that they are all very tender and fragrant. The ones that look like Wagyu have beautiful marbling and are rich in fat, which can be a bit overwhelming for me after a few pieces (so I recommend ordering a side dish to go with it for a more comfortable dining experience). Taiyaki Ice Cream ππππ All I can say is that after a meal full of meat, ending with this dessert is truly satisfying. The ice cream is rich in milk, making it very fragrant. I recommend the black sesame flavor. The taiyaki fish-shaped pastry is filled with a generous amount of red bean paste, which I absolutely love. ππΌ πYakiniku Gen π250 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022 #Yakiniku Gen #New York #Japanese BBQ
