Japanese cuisine in Florence! The wagyu beef bowl is just amazing……
-BENTORO- We didn’t order too much for two people, but the wagyu beef bowl is an absolute must-order! It’s not greasy at all. The beef is very tender and best enjoyed hot. The dish also includes pumpkin🎃, which is soft, sweet, and delicious. The fatty tuna belly in the sushi roll is very rich and flavorful—definitely worth the price of this expensive cut of tuna. (It was a special recommendation for the day, not on the regular menu.) I won’t specifically recommend the sashimi, as it’s pretty standard in the set meals.😍😍😍 As a Japanese food enthusiast, this place is a must-visit! It’s run by Italians, but the chef is Japanese. The restaurant has a beautiful and comfortable ambiance, and the staff are very friendly. SAKIMOTO MISTO — Sashimi platter: The ingredients are fresh and have a sweet, delicate flavor.💕💕💕 NIGIRI MISTO — Hand-pressed sushi platter: The wasabi is already placed between the rice and the fish slices. When eating, just add a few drops of soy sauce on the fish. TATAKI DI TONNO — Seared tuna: Paired with yuzu and wasabi, it’s simply amazing!😍😍😍 GYUNTO STEW — Braised beef tongue: It looks ordinary, but the flavor is fantastic and melts in your mouth. TORI TSUKUNE — Chicken meatballs: This dish is just average. BENTO WAGYU — Kagoshima A5 Wagyu bento: I came here for this, and it did not disappoint! I finished every bit of it.😘😘😘 TAGLIATA WAGYU — This dish was introduced by the waiter and is not on the regular menu. The beef is very tender and delicious. Highly recommended! TORCHIO AL MATCHA — I waited for 30 minutes for this dessert, and I was getting a bit impatient. But the moment I tasted it, all my irritation disappeared. The matcha flavor is very rich and delicious. I suggest reserving the dessert in advance next time; otherwise, you’ll end up waiting like I did. 😋 Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in Florence! 📍 Bentoro Firenze Via Capo di Mondo, 14r, 50136 Firenze FI #RestaurantReview #JapaneseCuisine #Sushi #Wagyu #ItalianFood #FlorenceJapaneseFood #FlorenceCuisine #JapaneseFoodie #FoodShare #WagyuBowl #TunaBelly #Florence
