Japanese Food Near Rowland Heights – $40+ Chirashi Bowl Feeds Two! 🍣

Restaurant: Akasaka Restaurant πŸ“ 14926 Clark Ave, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745 Had dinner in Hacienda Heights and chose this spot on a friend’s recommendation. It was packed at dinner time β€” waited about 10 minutes as a walk-in and got seats at the bar, where we could watch the chefs in action.β€οΈπŸ™Œ Came mainly for their chirashi bowl β€” it did not disappoint! A heaping bowl piled high with fresh sashimi β€” generous portion, easily enough for two people. Also ordered a large serving of uni β€” not fishy, reasonably fresh and sweet.😍😍 The salmon skin salad was just okay β€” skin was a bit greasy. Noticed many customers ordering oversized sushi rolls that looked well-made β€” will have to come back to try more!πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ Overall, compared to some overpriced and mediocre spots, this place offers good value and solid ingredients. Though for truly affordable, tasty, and generous chirashi, I’d still recommend that one spot in OC. #RowlandHeightsFood #RowlandHeightsEats #LAJapaneseFood #LAFood #LAEats #LAFoodScene
