Japanese Ramen Gem in Little Italy: Underbelly
🍜 This time in San Diego's Little Italy, I found a super delicious Japanese ramen shop! Although it's called "Little Italy," this ramen spot completely won me over! 😊 ✨ The shop is called Underbelly, located right in the heart of Little Italy, very convenient. Just be careful when taking a taxi, as there's another restaurant with the same name. You can simply set your destination to 【Underbelly】! 🚖 💡💔 The variety of ramen isn't huge, but each one is a classic. I tried their signature ramen bowls. The first was the Underbelly Ramen—a chicken broth base with soy-braised pork, pork belly, chashu pork, and pickled ginger. It was incredibly flavorful! The second was the Belly of The Beast Ramen, featuring a rich tonkotsu (pork bone) broth, a soft-boiled egg, and braised beef short rib. Both were absolutely delicious! 🥢🥢🥢 📷 The ambiance is great, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. In the afternoon, when sunlight streams in, the whole space is perfect for taking photos—very photogenic! ☀️ 🚶♂️ If you feel like exploring after your meal, this location is ideal for starting a city walk! Little Italy itself is a vibrant part of San Diego, filled with interesting shops and cafes—perfect for strolling and discovering. 🏞️ 📍 The address is Corner of Kettner & Fir, 750 W Fir St #101, San Diego, CA 92101. Highly recommend trying it out! 😋 #SanDiegoFood #LittleItaly #JapaneseRamen #RamenRecommendation #FoodExploration #UnderbellyRamen #TravelDiary
