—————— 🔆Restaurant Name: Mochimochi Kai Sweets 📍Address: 595 River Rd, Edgewater, NJ 07020 🌿Ambience : Located inside the Mitsuwa I introduced in my previous post, it's in the corner to the left of the entrance. You can't miss it with the long line of people waiting. 🍽Food : 👄Texture: Unlike the dough of doughnuts from Dough or the fried dough of Donut Plant, this place's doughnuts have a chewy and glutinous texture due to the addition of mochi, giving them a more elastic and refreshing feel. I love it. 💕 👅Taste: When I went, there were still flavors like Black sesame, matcha, passion fruit, strawberry, Oreo, yuzu citrus, and plain available. The sweetness level is suitable for most Asian palates. My friend and I both ranked Black sesame as our top choice. You can taste the rich aroma of the sesame without it being too sweet. Our second favorite was the passion fruit. The tangy flavor of the passion fruit balanced the sweetness of the glaze, and the cranberries on top added a delightful texture. Our third favorite was matcha. The matcha flavor was a bit too light; it would be better if it were more intense . The Strawberry was a bit too sweet for my taste.
