Joule in Seattle 🍽️✨
Beef Tartare 🥩 The beef tartare here is delicious! Toasted pine nuts add a lovely fragrance 🌰, and the beef is fresh and light—refreshing and not greasy at all. Tofu 🫘🔥 This tofu is absolutely yyds! I never expected to find wood-fire-style tofu in the US. Topped with mushrooms, scallions, and an incredible savory sauce… it’s a must-try 😍. Sichuan Roasted Artichoke 🌶️ A creative Sichuan-inspired dish with a pleasant numbing kick from Sichuan peppercorns. It’s tasty, though a bit oily since it’s deep-fried first. Chips with Dip 🍟💚 We originally ordered chips, but the real star was the side dip—a puree made with cilantro and edamame. So unique and delicious! Duck Breast 🦆 Generously served as two thick slices, cooked perfectly tender. Honestly, it’s even better than some French restaurants I’ve been to 👌. Braised Oxtail ❌ The only letdown of the meal 🥲. Extremely sweet and salty, drenched in heavy sauce, with only one piece and barely any meat. Not worth it. Overall, Joule offers creative flavors and solid execution—just skip the oxtail! #SeattleEats #JouleSeattle #ModernKorean #FoodReview #SeattleFoodie #DuckDoneRight #TofuLove #SkipTheOxtail
