Kamloops๐ A Quick Visit to "Sweet Dew Temple" ๐
I went to Kamloops (jokingly called "Sweet Dew Temple" by friends) earlier this month ๐คฃ This small city turned out to be unexpectedly "interesting" - got catcalled on the street + encountered some sketchy people ๐ First impression was a bit underwhelming... Since the city is so small ๐ฆ I only stayed for one day and had two meals before leaving ๐ฝ๏ธ The dining options definitely can't compare to Vancouver~ 1โฃ๏ธใThe Noble Pigใ๐ท Found this gem in the hotel brochure! Super close by ๐ถโโ๏ธ The restaurant is spacious, and there happened to be a Mother's Day gathering when we visited ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Seems like a local favorite (well, options are limited anyway hh) ๐ Must-try: โ๏ธ Pulled Chicken Kale Caesar Salad ๐ฅ โโ Shredded chicken with crispy kale, huge portion! Super friendly service โค๏ธโ๐ฅ Lightning-fast food delivery ๐จ And the flavors were on point ๐ 2โฃ๏ธใHello Toastใ๐ The local breakfast spot! Specializes in all kinds of toast dishes ๐ The one in our photo #5 (forgot the name ๐ญ) was amazing! Crispy toast ๐ with super flavorful meat filling ๐ฅ โ ๏ธ But their French Toast was... just meh ๐ Gets kinda dry after a while ๐กPro tip: Kamloops makes a great pit stop when traveling from Vancouver to Banff ๐ Perfect for a quick meal and rest~ Though maybe not ideal during wildfire season ๐ฅ ๐Addresses: 1โฃ๏ธ The Noble Pig 2โฃ๏ธ Hello Toast (Search online ๐ for easiest navigation) ๐ฐPrice: ~$30+ per person (similar at both spots) #VancouverDayTrips #KamloopsFoodAdventure #CanadaLife #FoodieDiary #SpontaneousTrip
