Kamloops📍 A Quick Visit to "Sweet Dew Temple" 🍁
I went to Kamloops (jokingly called "Sweet Dew Temple" by friends) earlier this month 🤣 This small city turned out to be unexpectedly "interesting" - got catcalled on the street + encountered some sketchy people 😅 First impression was a bit underwhelming... Since the city is so small 💦 I only stayed for one day and had two meals before leaving 🍽️ The dining options definitely can't compare to Vancouver~ 1⃣️【The Noble Pig】🐷 Found this gem in the hotel brochure! Super close by 🚶♀️ The restaurant is spacious, and there happened to be a Mother's Day gathering when we visited 👩👧👦 Seems like a local favorite (well, options are limited anyway hh) 🌟 Must-try: ✔️ Pulled Chicken Kale Caesar Salad 🥗 —— Shredded chicken with crispy kale, huge portion! Super friendly service ❤️🔥 Lightning-fast food delivery 💨 And the flavors were on point 👍 2⃣️【Hello Toast】🍞 The local breakfast spot! Specializes in all kinds of toast dishes 👌 The one in our photo #5 (forgot the name 😭) was amazing! Crispy toast 🍞 with super flavorful meat filling 🥓 ⚠️ But their French Toast was... just meh 😐 Gets kinda dry after a while 💡Pro tip: Kamloops makes a great pit stop when traveling from Vancouver to Banff 🚗 Perfect for a quick meal and rest~ Though maybe not ideal during wildfire season 🔥 📍Addresses: 1⃣️ The Noble Pig 2⃣️ Hello Toast (Search online 🔍 for easiest navigation) 💰Price: ~$30+ per person (similar at both spots) #VancouverDayTrips #KamloopsFoodAdventure #CanadaLife #FoodieDiary #SpontaneousTrip
