Kanazawa Chaya District 🌿

Kanazawa has a total of three chaya (tea house) districts, and it’s definitely too much to cover in one go. I visited Higashi Chaya District, which is built along a river. 🎢🌟 As you gradually move towards the commercial area, you can really feel the “gold” in Kanazawa’s name. 🌸🍃 There are lots of tourists, and the vast majority of shops sell gold-related items, like gold-flaked ice cream, gold facial masks, and gold jewelry. I found it a bit crowded, so I detoured to the back to visit Jion-ji Temple. 🎢🌟 It was so peaceful and quiet—exactly the kind of tranquility I love. 🌇 Nagamachi Samurai District 🌸🍃 This is the former residence of a security captain from the Edo period. 🌸🍃The house has a beautiful garden, and each room on the two floors offers a different view. The aesthetics are so advanced that they feel centuries ahead of my own taste. 🎢🌟 I have to say, the taste is really impeccable! #Kanazawa 🌟🌟
