For friends short on time, one full day is actually enough to see the highlights! 📣📍 Here's the quick recommended itinerary: ❣️ 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM: The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art 8906 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114 Allow about 3 hours for your visit. Don't miss: Take a photo with the iconic Shuttlecocks sculpture on the lawn. The collection of Asian art on the second floor, including Buddhist sculptures and Chinese artifacts, is absolutely worth seeing. 🖼️ ❣️ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Union Station 30 W Pershing Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108 A beautiful historic landmark. Perfect for photos as the sun sets! 🌆 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center 2345 McGee St, Kansas City, MO 64108 Major perk: It's connected via skywalk to the Crown Center Shopping Mall, which has a Legoland Discovery Center and an SEA LIFE Aquarium—great for families with kids! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The location is super convenient, within walking distance of the National WWI Museum and Memorial and Union Station. 🍽️ Chinese Food Recommendations ··· 🚗🚗 🥘 Princess Garden 8906 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114 (Note: This is the same address as the museum; it's likely in the same plaza) What we tried: Roast Duck, Salt & Pepper Duck Frame, and Beef Chow Fun. Verdict: The roast duck isn't traditional Peking duck, but it was pretty good. For an extra $15, you can have the carcass made into salt & pepper style or tofu soup. The beef chow fun was just okay. 🍜 Top Soup Rice Noodle (Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles) 7948 W 151st St, Overland Park, KS 66223 It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but totally worth it! 🤤 Recommendations: The "Golden Soup" with fatty beef and the spicy beef brisket broths were both delicious. From the appetizer menu, the takoyaki (octopus balls) and beef pancake roll were also great.
