Checked out the new Chinese spot at The Row — it’s nice to finally have upscale Chinese food in DTLA. Loving the contemporary Chinese-inspired decor — not the usual casual SGV vibe but refined, atmospheric, and stylish. They even have large round tables perfect for group gatherings. Still in soft opening phase — a lot of dishes we wanted were already sold out yesterday.😁😁 The flavors lean toward American tastes: bold and on the salty side.👌😘 But the chocolate xiaolongbao were a standout! Sweet, indulgent, and addictive — never knew chocolate could pair so well with chewy dumpling wrappers. I finished a whole steamer myself.😍🙌 Though the seasoning tends to be heavy, I’d definitely go back for the ambiance alone.
