Kawasaki City Hall Observation Deck, Worth a Visit! ๐
๐๏ธIn Japan, many city halls and ward offices have observation decks on their top floors. ๐จI've been to the one in Nerima Ward before, and this time I visited the Kawasaki City Hall. ๐๏ธ The design of the Kawasaki City Hall building is quite beautiful. When I first walked in, I thought I had entered a trendy department store! ๐๏ธ ๐๏ธ I visited on a weekday, and there weren't many people at the observation deck, making it very quiet. ๐จYou can peacefully enjoy the view, watch planes taking off and landing at Haneda Airport, and on a clear day, you might even see Mount Fuji (all I saw was a bunch of dark clouds ๐ข). It's a bit of a pity that there isn't a scenic cafรฉ here. The one on the top floor of the Nerima Ward office was pretty good. โ ๐๏ธ The Kawasaki City Museum of Art was established in December 2002 as part of the 80th-anniversary celebration of Kawasaki's city system implementation. ๐ ๐ The museum is located adjacent to the Kawasaki City Museum, on the site of the former second bailey of Kawagoe Castle. ๐ฟIts architectural design incorporates the traditional storehouse style of Kawagoe, giving it a unique and charming appearance. ๐ฐ ๐จ The collection mainly features works by artists born in Kawagoe and those from the former Kawagoe Domain. ๐ฟ The museum has a permanent exhibition hall dedicated to Japanese paintings and currently holds 1,998 pieces. ๐๏ธ ๐ In addition to the permanent exhibitions, the museum hosts five special exhibitions each year, all of which are open to the public for free. ๐ ๐ฟWhether you're a fan of art or just looking for a unique cultural experience, the Kawasaki City Museum of Art is definitely worth a visit! ๐ #ArtLovers #CulturalHeritage ๐
