Kelowna Travel Guide đFoodie Edition
After much delay, Iâm finally sharing the highlights of our Kelowna tripâdelicious eats and fun stops on the way back! đ˝ď¸ Food Adventures Kelowna may not have a ton of signature dishes, but whatâs there is seriously good! Thereâs a trendy Italian-Korean fusion restaurant thatâs all over social media, but since it leans more Western, we skipped it (not the best for kids). If you're curious, you can look it up! Instead, we ended up at YUZU Bowl & Bistro for dinner three nights in a rowâyes, it was that good! â Lunch: Bento boxes (six small dishes in one tray) â Dinner: Must-tries include their char siu rice (my kid devoured most of it!), udon noodles, and mango tuna rice bowlâabsolutely no misses! đ Bonus: The restaurant is near the lake, so after dinner, we strolled along the shore to catch the sunset. đŚParlour Ice Cream A must-visit spot in Kelowna! Even at 9 PM, there was a long line. On a warm summer evening, their blueberry cheesecake flavor was pure happiness in a cone. đPeach Drink Stand in Penticton On our way back, we stopped at the famous big peach drink stand in Penticton. Their peach slushie was delicious (but very sugaryâwatch out if youâre cutting back on sweets!). đ Road Trip Highlights Osyoos Detour: We drove from Penticton to Osyoos, passing farm stands selling fresh cherries đ (pricey but tastier than Vancouverâs). Manning Park Pit Stop: Charged our Tesla (supercharger available!) and spotted friendly ground squirrels đżď¸âthey even took biscuits right from our hands! Driving Back: The mountain roads were windier than expected, but our Tesla handled it well (500 km range, even with AC on). Final Thoughts A perfect little getawayâgreat food, beautiful scenery, and happy kids (though the drive back was a bit boring). If you're heading to Kelowna, these spots are worth the visit! #KelownaTravel #KelownaEats #VancouverDayTrips #FamilyFriendly #CherryPicking
