Torii Lantern Stairway: After passing through the torii gate, a stairway adorned with red lanterns leads to the main shrine. ๐ข๐ As the sky darkens, the atmosphere here becomes especially enchanting, especially during the Tanabata Festival when there are limited-time light shows. ๐ Okumiya (Inner Shrine): Continue from the main shrine for about ten minutes, and you'll reach the Okumiya. ๐ธ๐ The surroundings, with their red wooden lanterns and straight cypress forests, are truly picturesque. ๐ฒ Water Divination: One of the unique experiences at Kifune Shrine, water divination costs only 100 yen. ๐ข๐ Place the paper in the water, and words will appearโit's really fun! ๐ธ Transportation: From Kyoto City, take the Eizan Electric Railway to "Kifune-guchi" Station, then transfer to bus number 33, which goes directly to the shrine. ๐ธ๐ Note that bus number 33 stops running after dark, so be sure to plan your time wisely. ๐ Opening Hours and Admission: Kifune Shrine is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from May 1 to November 30, and from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from December 1 to April 30. ๐๐ On New Year's Day, it closes at 8:00 p.m. Visiting the shrine is free, though some activities may require additional payment. ๐ฐ๏ธ #KifuneShrine #Kyoto ๐๐
