Torii Lantern Stairway: After passing through the torii gate, a stairway adorned with red lanterns leads to the main shrine. π’π As the sky darkens, the atmosphere here becomes especially enchanting, especially during the Tanabata Festival when there are limited-time light shows. π Okumiya (Inner Shrine): Continue from the main shrine for about ten minutes, and you'll reach the Okumiya. πΈπ The surroundings, with their red wooden lanterns and straight cypress forests, are truly picturesque. π² Water Divination: One of the unique experiences at Kifune Shrine, water divination costs only 100 yen. π’π Place the paper in the water, and words will appearβit's really fun! πΈ Transportation: From Kyoto City, take the Eizan Electric Railway to "Kifune-guchi" Station, then transfer to bus number 33, which goes directly to the shrine. πΈπ Note that bus number 33 stops running after dark, so be sure to plan your time wisely. π Opening Hours and Admission: Kifune Shrine is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from May 1 to November 30, and from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from December 1 to April 30. ππ On New Year's Day, it closes at 8:00 p.m. Visiting the shrine is free, though some activities may require additional payment. π°οΈ #KifuneShrine #Kyoto ππ
