Kings Canyon National Park, Facing Off with a Bear! 🐻💥
The 50-mile drive to Kings Canyon National Park is considered one of California’s most beautiful mountain roads! 🚗💨 Here are the must-visit spots inside the park: 🌟 Mist Falls Trail 🌊 Hike through forested canyons leading to a powerful waterfall. We encountered a bold bear here stealing food—it wouldn’t leave no matter what! 😱🐻 🌟 Zumwalt Meadow Loop 🌿 An easy loop trail featuring meadows, rivers, and stunning granite cliffs. Perfect for a relaxed stroll! 🌟 Cedar Grove Overlook Trail ⛰ Summit views overlooking the entire canyon—vast and breathtaking! 🌟 Big Stump Trail Discover remnants of giant sequoias logged long ago—a powerful mix of history and nature. 🌟 Hume Lake 🛶 Perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, and picnics. Super chill summer vibes! ☀️ 🌟 General Grant Tree 🌲 The world’s second-largest giant sequoia, known as “America’s Christmas Tree”! 📌 Summary Tips: 1️⃣ Skip Yosemite in August if you want epic waterfalls—come here instead! 2️⃣ Bears are common 🐻. Follow all park rules to keep yourself and your car safe! 3️⃣ Stay at in-park campgrounds if possible. We loved Pinehurst Homestay (you can pet dogs, sheep, horses, and collect eggs! 🥚🐴), but the drive can be tiring. #California #USA #WildlifeEncounters #OutdoorAdventure #KingsCanyon #NationalParks #BearCountry #HikingTrails #WaterfallLovers
