Kingston Food Guide | Best Eats Near Toronto

1. Tango Nuevo 🇪🇸 My go-to spot every time I'm in Kingston! Their scallops, foie gras, and cured meats are chef's kiss 🌝 I've tried almost everything on the menu—no regrets. 2. Chez Piggy Restaurant & Bar 🍖 Plating? Basic. Taste? Incredible. Their lamb is cooked to perfection, and the bone marrow dish (random pick!) was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. 3. Olivea 🍝 The pasta here is worth driving from Toronto for! Seafood linguine is my fave—when it’s good, the sauce clings to every strand. (Once ate an entire giant bowl solo—waitress was shook.) Consistency varies though; sometimes the sauce runs thin. 4. Smoke 'N' Barrel Kingston 🥩 Meat lovers, this Texas-style BBQ joint is for you. Skip the dry beef—go full pork ribs instead! (Pro tip: Order by the rack.) 5. Burning Grill Korean Cuisine 🍲 Korean BBQ that’s decent (but don’t compare to Toronto). Stone pot bibimbap and spicy pork feet are highlights! (Warning: The pork feet are legit spicy.) 6. Dianne's Fish Shack & Smokehouse 🦞 Classic seaside vibes—fish & chips, oysters, and a lobster roll stuffed with meat. Their Mexican grilled corn? Elite. 7. Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza Wood-fired thin-crust pizza (so crispy!). Not the roundest pies (my ex-Italian-restaurant-worker soul cringes), but flavor-wise? 10/10. Their Bolognese pasta is great too (minus points for slightly overcooked noodles). 📍 All in Kingston, ON #TorontoDayTrips #KingstonEats #OntarioFoodie #TorontoGetaway
