Between 1747 and 1780, during the reign of King Kirti Sri Rajasinghe, it became a royal garden. It is rated as one of the "Top Ten Botanical Gardens in the World." 📸 Things to See: 1️⃣ The photo spots are marked . Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the northern avenue of coconut trees, nor did I find the tree planted by Premier Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao. I hope you can check out more beautiful and interesting places! 2️⃣ The garden is home to many small animals: monkeys, squirrels, and even bats hanging upside down from the trees (possibly in the northern part, which I regrettably missed) . 3️⃣ The entire botanical garden has approximately 4000 species and 10,000 plants and trees, spice gardens, orchid gardens, fern gardens, cactus houses, and memorial arboretums. 🔖 Tips to Enhance Your Experience: 1️⃣ At the entrance of the botanical garden, there is a detailed map sign with numbers from 1 to 30, corresponding to the various plant species areas. Using this in conjunction with a navigation app on your phone can save time. 2️⃣ Sun protection and mosquito prevention are essential; bring parasols and insect repellent items.
