Kodo | Arts District Vibe Japanese Restaurant 🍣

Finally checked out this trendy cafe‑turned‑Japanese spot with my bestie! The place is unique — cafe up front, restaurant in the back 🍽️ I’d been to their cafe before and liked it ☕️, so we made a reservation to try the dinner menu. The ambiance is nice and pretty photogenic 📷 Highlights: 🍗 Tsukune — tasty grilled chicken meatball with a soft‑boiled egg center 🥚 Other dishes were just okay — not great value for the price! You’ll need $100+ per person to feel full. At this price (or even lower), you can eat much better at other izakayas or Japanese spots 🏮 Their coffee is actually really good though — worth visiting the cafe side! ☕️👍 Dining outdoors at night is more atmospheric — better for photos and overall vibe 🌙🍴 Overall: Better for photos and a casual visit than for serious Japanese cuisine. 📍 Address: 710 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90021 #JapaneseFood #JapaneseRestaurant #LAFood #LosAngelesFood #Kodo #FoodReview
