Konnubio

I recently discovered a Michelin-recommended restaurant just 30 meters from my home. I decided to visit it for a special occasion. The menu offers set menus, but you can also order à la carte. This time, I chose the €65 "Seafood" , which includes a "Land" and "Garden" menu as well. Of course, you can also order individual dishes! I paired my meal with a bottle of French red wine 🍷. As a complimentary appetizer, they served a mini panino (sandwich) filled with tuna 🐟 tartare. It's worth mentioning that the bread here is exceptionally delicious, with a hint of scallion that I think many Chinese people would love. They also had slices of multigrain baguette. The appetizer was a fried sardine ball served with Italian red shrimp 🦴. Next came the fried dishes (as shown in Figure 3), beautifully arranged with purple sweet potatoes, regular sweet potatoes, and regular potatoes. The fried cod was topped with a homemade cream sauce. The combination of the crispy slices and the fish 🐟 was not greasy at all. The first course was anise-flavored Italian ravioli 🥟. What made it special was the accompanying mussels—extracted mussel meat with black truffle fried potato chips, arranged to look like mussels. It was quite innovative! The anise flavor can be quite strong for Chinese palates, but they handled the seasoning well, making it easy to enjoy. The second course was pan-seared salmon, slightly salty in seasoning. The accompanying sauce was a mix of passion fruit puree and fresh fruits. Overall, it was average. For dessert, there was a passion fruit sorbet with passion fruit puree underneath and a dollop of cream on the side. It was quite refreshing. **Restaurant:** Konnubio **Average Cost:** €50+ **Address:** Via dei Conti, 8r, 50123 Firenze FI #WesternCuisine #Michelin #DateRestaurant #WeekendEats #FlorenceFood #ItalianCuisine #FineDining
